Valkyrie

Valkyries, in Scandinavian mythology, are warlike maidens who participate in the distribution of victories and deaths in battles. They soar on a winged horse over the battlefield and decide which of the warriors who died in battle will get to the heavenly palace of Valhalla. Fertilizing dew drips from their horse's mane, and light emanates from their spear.
